Spring must be in the air because plans by the LDBA are underway to hold a second Scarecrow Festival during the weekend of 24 – 27 May 2013.
Following the success of last year’s Royal Jubilee event the swashbuckling theme for this year’s display is Pirates & Bandits.
To help those lost for inspiration, two free scarecrow workshops will be held over the previous weekends:
Wednesday 8th May Lecture Hall/St. Johns, Loddon 6-8 p.m.
Sunday 19th May Brian Clarke Rooms, Chedgrave 2-5 p.m.
Places at these popular events will be limited and should be booked in advance at Rosie Lee’s Tea Room or the Loddon Nearly New Shop where entry forms for the Festival will also be available. Alternatively print this form and complete it and return to Rosie Lee’s, Loddon Nearly New or Ward’s Butchers.
Also in Loddon and Chedgrave on this weekend, 24 – 27 May 2013, the church is holding a Flower Festival on the theme of West End musicals.
